The 2017 Ministerial Programme was an outstanding success, with nearly 1,700 attendees participating across the three days, including 166 delegations representing 137 countries and 29 international organisations. 60 ministers, 78 regulatory authority heads and more than 150 CEOs were in attendance.
The twelfth annual Ministerial Programme convened senior leaders from government and industry to examine the evolution of mobile, celebrating the positive socio-economic impact mobile has played in both developing and developed countries and exploring the policy levers needed to extend that impact. More than 100 speakers participated in the various sessions, sharing their expertise and insights through keynotes and panel discussions on a range of topics, from 5G to digital identity.
Each year, the Ministerial Programme continues to expand as it offers governments and industry increased networking opportunities and the chance to discuss the specific regulatory issues shaping mobile’s global development.
